I think one 20ft x 3" would just about do us!
Here's the design PDF. It looks like about 20ft 1/4" (the mast doens't need to 
be exact)

You know if they would cut to order?
You know how much that would be?
I would feel better making the hinged base plates out of steel (less chance of 
warpage under torque). 

Thoughts? Suggestions?
