For those who may have missed it on FB, there are a couple of opportunities for old and new fliers (imho, of course):
For new/uncertified fliers, this is a great opportunity to pick up 29mm F and G engines. Even Hobbylinc charges Hazmat now for these, so this is a good time to pick up a big engine for a med-power bird at 30% off.
L1 fliers: Chris has several G138T reloads for the Aerotech Hobbyline 29/40-120 case. If you like to fly lots of power in little rockets, these are fun. They are also very rarely on sale (because they are technically "high power" and require L1 cert), but chris is offering them at 30$ off ($14 per reload, need the AT29/40-120 hobbyline case). This is the largest G you can put in a stock Estes or Aerotech kit - nearly 159 N-s of thrust (160 is an H impulse). I intend to fly supersonic with this engine on Oct 8, provided the wind is calm.
For those who want to certify:
If you plan to cert L1 and don't want to fool with reloadable cases, the Aerotech DMS H115DM will fly anything up to 4lbs safely, and is $30.
Going crazy and trying to cert L1 and L2 on the same bird and don't want to fool with reloadable hardware or adapters?
L1 cert can be done with the H283 ($36) DMS / Single Use engine
L2 cert can be done with the J425R ($63) DMS / Single Use engine
both are 38mm engines, and both should easily lift a 6lb rocket safely - and likely more like 8 pounds.

Hey fellow Rocketeers!
Do you need HP motors for the upcoming October 7/8th "Big Fall Launch"?
I know *I* do! :)
October is a really busy motor vendor time, but we WERE able to find a well stocked motor vendor (Chris with www.csrocketry.com) who is willing to do a combined/shared-cost group shipment for us! (saving us each $15-20 in hazmat/shipping fees!).
When placing your order (BEFORE Monday 10/2 @6pm), just put in the shipping notes "for NRVR/Kentland Launch" and Chris will subtract off your shipping fees and put your purchases into one big shared shipment to NRVR where Bob or myself will be handing them out at the launch. This means we'll all get to split a single Hazmat and shipping fees, saving us each $15-20 or more!
Motor Vendor URL: https://www.csrocketry.com/
Shipping Note: "for NRVR/Kentland Launch"
Order By: 6pm, Mon Oct 2nd (will be shipped to Tweeks Tue morning)
This gives us exactly ONE WEEK to place our motor orders!
So get your orders in while Chris' inventory is still high!
Tweeks
