No.. No one mentioned a Friday setup..
Bob.. we do have some bigger LM stuff going up. Did you want to do a Fri afternoon partial setup (for say the big pad and 100/200 for pads)?
Adrien, plan on 9am Sat unless you hear otherwise here..

Is there a plan to meet at the range on Friday for any pre-setup?
Overbooked at work, and I still find myself, unexpectedly, with most of the daylight hours of Friday "off".

Adrien.. Any help is appreciated.. I just heard the 36 student teams are actually around 200 college students.. and we're going to be short handed and need a lot of help.. all over the place. ;)
BTW.. if anyone has extra tables.. please bring a few to setup a student rocket checking line.. Just like we did for kids tech when we had 200+ flyers
Wow.. I estimate we'll need:
* two RSO tables,
* two "rocket triage / repair" tables (with lots of CA/fixer spray)
* two low power pad managers
* couple of pad helpers
Eric:
These are all flying on Estes BP motors? If that's the case, you or Pat might want to swing by Hobby Lobby and buy up all their spare $1 ea Estes igniters.. They have like a 25% failure rate.. and you'll be in the red on igniter supplies 30 minutes after launches begin.

Big project at work (forklifting our data center from Roanoke to a colo in DC) is coming down to crunch time; move date is 10-19, so I haven't had time to get anything interesting done.
Probably won't have time to be there Sunday, as much as I'd like to, but I will definitely be there Saturday. Still not able to do HP RSO or LD, but more than happy to take a shift at LCO (HP or LP) and/or LP RSO.
Tangentially, I would like to take my L2 test on Saturday, if we can arrange that.
See you all then

Hey all,
As you all know, this month's launch is a larger, two day launch this upcoming Sat & Sunday: http://nrvr.org/calendar/
Who's coming?
What are you flying?
(anything > 6kft, certification or complex flights please email rso(at)nrvr.org<http://nrvr.org> )
Who can volunteer to help run the launch?
On this last point...
Volunteers:
No one has stepped up yet as Launch Director (we need one for both Sat & Sunday).. and we'll also need coverage for:
* High power RSOs
* Low power RSOs ( we have a large VT student team flying gliders)
* 3-4 LCO slots (as we split HP and LP flight-ops)
* Setup and Breakdown for Sat & Sun
