[NRVR-Members] Group Motor Order for April Launch

You hadn't heard Eric?

We now HAVE a very large, monster PA system now.. It's one of the "winter acquisitions" (along with the launch tower) I drove all over creation picking up for the club in January. (thanks to SEVRA)

Although as we discussed.. at last year's event, the students would have heard all the announcements from the smaller PA if they hadn't set up across the street from the launch area, and behind our trailer.. 😉 This is why we typically have HP flyers line up at/near the RSO tables. Maybe we can get word to them before the launch to "see the RSO on where to set up"?

That being said, if you still want us to break out the new large PA system (each crate takes two people to move).. we just need some muscle to haul out the three new coffin sized storage crates that houses it.

p.s. Bob.. Pete.. Adrian.. you guys think we need a new, bigger marine cell to power this beast? If so.. we'll need to pick one up well before the launch.. and probably test the new system.

I’d be interested for a few 38mm motors for the maiden flight of my 2-stager.

Also, we are planning on holding our Senior Picnic (weather pending) out at Kentland like we did last year on 27 April. My request is that we secure a better PA system so that everyone can hear when a launch is going to take place and that they can keep their eyes on the sky (vs. chatting away oblivious to potential risks).

Eric

Yes, Chris' Rocketry is what I was thinking too.

I usually order from Chris' Rocketry, but am happy to save on hazmat if the consensus is to go somewhere else.

Are you leaning toward one vendor over another? Have you looked at inventory levels yet?

I would encourage folks to reply all so we'll all know what the status is before the order gets placed.

Let me know if anybody's interested in placing a group motor order for this month's launch.

Thanks,
