Hey All..

If you want to save a bunch of money on motor shipping and Mazmat fees.. join our group order by doing the following.

1) Get your orders in by CoB NEXT FRI (4/16) via Chris' Rocket Supplies: [ https://www.csrocketry.com/ ]( https://www.csrocketry.com/ )
2) Put in order notes "Ship along with 'NRVR April Order' "
3) If you're an L1 getting your L2 cert,
3a) contact me to get my TRA# as a reference to buy the motor
3b) on your motor order, put me down as your L2 mentor
  3c) fill out a[ pre-flight data form ]( http://server2.nrvr.org/files/NRVR_Pre-Flight_Data_Capture_Form_2020.pdf ) and send it to Bob and I. officers(at)nrvr.org
3d) contact Bob about coordinating your L2 written test and your cert flight

CERT STUDENTS:
BE SURE TO SIM YOUR FLIGHTS AND/OR RUN THE PRE_FLIGHT DATA CAPTURE FORM BY BOB AND I BEFORE BUYING MOTORS WILLY NILLY.

We hate telling flyers, "sorry.. that's not safe to fly" after you bought a bunch of stuff.

Saving MORE Money (potentially) & Cesaroni Casing Recommendations
Students.. if you don't have a motor casing to fly on.. now's a good time to get one! I'm not sure if Chris is still doing this, but some vendors are still doing the "free 38mm motor case with L1 & L2 cert reload" deal. I don't see it on Chris' site, but call him and ask him about it (some other sites stll list it).. Regarding your purchase, tell him you're with NRVR and we're mentoring you all. Regardless whether you get a free case, If you're doing an L1, I recommend the 3-grain 38mm case (FREE) and paying for two spacers. That will let you fly 1, 2 or 3 grain 38mm (with the free 3-grain case!). If you're doing your L2, I recommend an 6 grain case (or 6xl +1/2 spacer) case + 2 spacers, that way you can fly 4,5 and 6 grain motors. (a 38mm J will either be on a 5 or 6 grain load) Does that help a little?

Confession: I am a bit biased towards Cesaroni. Aerotech is still really good too.. but especially for new flyers, 38mm CTI (Cesaroni) is not only more simple and less error prone when loading, but it's just cleaner to mess with. Sorry.. I'm spoiled. But if you can get the free case deal.. it's even more a no brainer for cert flyers.

Bob.. any other thoughts or recommendations?

I might get a few 29mm motors. There are some students wanting to do L2 certs so they may be interested too
