[NRVR-Members] MEETING CANCELED (was Re: NRV Rocketry Meeting To Go Over High Power Rocket Construction & AV-Bay Design?)

Okay, well.. we didn't hear back from anyone on attending the meeting tomorrow night, we didn't get the AEDL lab approved in time, and I have a conflict, so I'm calling off the Thur night meeting.

If anyone wants to have a high power rocket design meeting in the CRC or the AEDL lab.. or students want to present on a project or recap the America Cup launch or something, then please let Bob & I know some time before next month so we can get it lined up and get the word out.

Hey all..


First, while we're still on the hunt for a new field to fly regular HP flights at.. we may have one or two, fall low-to-medium power launches coming up in Sept/Oct at the Pumpkin Festival in Riner, down Hwy-8.   More details to come.  However, in the mean time.. we've had some requests to have a NRVR meeting to illustrate good high power rocket build techniques, as well as show, tell and discuss good Avionics-Bay Design Principals (and components) you should consider when building your first dual deploy system.


We wanted to hold off until all the students were back in town and settled into their classes.  Let us know if Thur night, Sept 14th is a major show stopper for anyone.  if not, we'll book it.  I need to talk to Bob to see if we can have it there at the AEDL ("rocket lab").. or schedule it in the CRC by the airport.
