[NRVR-Members] Doing Fiberglass and vacuum bagging

Hey all.. I have a couple of projects that I need to do some fiberglassing and carbonfiberrrring.. and was wondering what folks used for good results on doing both unmounted fin as well as on-rocket baggging (since one of my big rockets that needs tip-to-tip CFings is already assembled).

You guys use a shop vac and an on/off valve to lock the vacuum, or do you use a real vacuum pump like from HFreight? (or a combination)

What are you preferred layers of peel ply (for glass-like finish, but stull pull excess epoxy out)?

What about additional breather/bleeder and bagging film preferences?
